Dan Kibler is a sometimes Orbit contributor and technical support to Get Rolling. By day, he is a software consultant - designing and implementing web-based computer applications. He is also Liz Miller's live-in, in-line skating head-of-the-class student! Read Liz's ode to Dan :)
Dan brings to skating twenty five-years experience in alpine and Nordic skiing. In fact, he is an expert skier and has worked part-time as an alpine ski. He enjoys a number of other outdoor activities including road and mountain bicycling, backpacking and hiking.
In addition to his outdoors recreation, he is an accomplished photographer and videographer. Dan loves to shoot skaters in action. He is responsible for most of the photos in Get Rolling and in Advanced In-Line Skating. Other samples of his work appear in this site.
One other fact makes Dan more special than your average guy (at least in Liz's eyes.). He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY.
