California RV Moments With the new year, Dan finally decided to retire "for reals." He dedicated himself to researching fun destinations that we could enjoy via RV, and he really outdid himself! We traveled every month to hike, bike, ski or stand-up paddle, and included a stop at the Miller rancho whenever we were in the area.

Skiing the West The season started with a December blizzard in the Lake Tahoe area, after which we found good conditions in Canada. Spring brought favorite ski pals to California, and we repeated our 2021 Mt. Bachelor and Mammoth trips in the RV.

Southwest Utah RV Tour Every national park in this vast canyonland has its own distinct flavor of awesome that really must be seen in person to be appreciated fully. That said, here are our attempts to share what we saw.

Multi-Part RV Adventure November kicked off our long-anticipated RV trip to central and southern California, and Baja Mexico's northern wine country, Guadalupe Valley. We started and ended with stops to visit friends and family on our route, including Thanksgiving with Dad, who is now a robust 94 years old.

Home and Family The drought was tough on our homestead gardens, even the new California natives planted a year ago. Thanks to Don's constant attention to irrigating and hand-watering, we still had beautiful plants to look at all year.
